Timeless Winter Wedding Inspiration

I woke up this morning to my weather app telling me Charlotte is now expected to receive 4-8" of snow tonight and tomorrow afternoon...what the what?  Good news, I love snow and will prompty turn into a little kid glued to the window as soon as the first few flakes fall.  Bad news, we're almost out of Winter/Christmas beer and how is one to have a snow party without it?  Total Wine, I will be seeing you later...here's hoping it's not quite as crazy as Harris Teeter was last night!

The Timeless Winter Wedding shoot I designed last month is perfect for a snowy day - soft, cool hues, a fur stole and blankets to keep you cozy, a touch of velvet, and hot toddies.  My goal for this shoot was to put a soft spin on winter wedding design and to say I'm pleased with how it all came together (in less than two weeks no less!) would be a huge understatement!

Fall and Spring in the Carolinas are incredibly beautiful - it can be tough to beat Carolina blue skies on your wedding day, but don't write off a Winter wedding just yet.  Overcast skies, cooler temps, and an earlier sunset create the ultimate romantic backdrop.  For anyone still on the fence about Winter weddings, I'm hopeful this shoot will make a fan out of you as well.

Enjoy the snow this weekend!
