Lesley & Kyle's Asheville Wedding

Lesley and Kyle were married October 2015 at The Crest Center in Asheville, North Carolina, and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. When I arrived in Western North Carolina the morning of the rehearsal it was pouring (cats and dogs style), and continued to do so throughout the entire day. Imagine how happy everyone was to wake up on wedding day to sunshine, blue skies, mild temperatures, and the early signs of changing leaves - it was the epitome what people think of as Fall in North Carolina.

There are so many details I want to share from this wedding. When Lesley and I had our initial meeting I knew we would be a great fit - the first thing she told me was that Asheville was her "and Kyle's place". Ryan and I too love Asheville and frequent as often as possible, so she and I hit it off immediately. Once we started chatting details, decor, and design Lesley mentioned that she wanted to steer away from warm hues (burgundy, purple, etc.) which are so often used in fall weddings. Instead she wanted to focus on cool hues of blues and greens - a nod to the gorgeous Smokey Mountains.

Lesley owns her own Etsy shop and created many of the details herself. With that, each facet of wedding day was tied together with much attention to detail and love from the bride (the groom put in some serious work as well). Lesley and Kyle were one of "those couples" for me - meetings weren't meetings, meetings were getting together to chat with friends about how we could make their big day, the best day. I am so thankful Southern Savvy had the opportunity to get to know these two and participate in such a special time in their lives.
